Ceramic Coating

I would give them more stars if it were an option. Just got my Dodge Viper back today and it surpassed my expectations. The car turned out absolutely beautiful. I wish more businesses had the same customer service. Jonathon sent pictures and videos everyday as well as text messages detailing the progress and the steps they had completed. If you visit their FB page the pictures will speak for themselves. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for exceptional customer service and quality.     -Trevi

Ceramic Coatings Protect Your Paint Long-Term

A Ceramic Coating is a premium wax alternative. A Ceramic Coating creates a permanent or semi-permanent bond with a vehicle’s paint, meaning that it does not wash away or break down and does not require repeated application every few months.

The Coating Process

Installing a ceramic coating is an extremely tedious process. Below is a breakdown of how ceramic coatings are installed.

Step 1 - Clean & Decontaminate

Let’s get it clean! Every exterior coating package includes our triple decontamination wash to remove everything stuck to the surface of your paint. We use a variety of specialty chemicals and mechanical techniques to get your paint smooth and clean.

Step 2 - Paint Correction aka Swirl Removal

We need to fix your paint next! All of our coating packages will include a minimum enhancement polish, but true paint correction may be needed to get that mirror reflection before we coat.

Step 3 - Ceramic Coating Installation

Most of our coating packages take a minimum of 1-2 full days, preparing a vehicle for ceramic is more important than the application process itself. We need a squeaky clean surface for the coating to bond properly.

Labor intensive Machine Paint Correction
We must make your car’s paint as close to perfect as possible so that we don’t seal those defects under the coating.
Surface Cleansing Coating Prep
We apply an alcohol-based cleansing solution to give the coating a proper surface to bond too. Unlike wax coatings bond to your clear coat.
Tedious Panel by Panel Installation
We apply the coating panel-by-panel with an applicator and special soft towels to prevent damage.

Ceramic coatings come in all shapes and sizes, and can last from 6 months to a few years depending on how its installed, maintained, how it’s stored, and the environment that it’s in.

Ceramic coating services can range from $500 on the low end up to a few thousand dollars depending on the scope of the prep work, and the size and condition of the vehicle.

Ceramic coating is a liquid resin that when applied to the paint creates a thin film of sacrificial barrier that protects the paint from the elements.

Typically the best practices to maintain a ceramic coating would be to hand wash it with a pH neutral soap or with a waterless or rinseless wash with a proper technique. generally it is recommended not to use any brushes or abrasive sponges, and not to use automated car washes.

Ceramic coatings help amplify the gloss of the vehicle, protect from environmental stains and damage, help prevent UV fading and degradation of your clear coat, and also allow easy maintenance of your vehicle.
